The Sound Project came about after Mark was a guest on JoJo's show in April 2023 and, finding his inner diva, he hogged the microphone. When he was asked if he would like to present his own show, Mark couldn't decide whether to go with disco or easy listening so in the end went with both. I mean, if you can have everything, why not? On a Funky Monday, the show will be filled with disco, cheesy pop and HI-NRG bangers, followed by some laid back grooves and love songs on a Smooth Monday. Live from Studio 14 on the South Coast, Mark is joined in the Live Lounge each week by the wonderful 'Rodriguez Rabble', who chat about life, the universe and whether or not Chocolate Orange counts as one of your 5 a day. He is also joined occasionally by International DJ José, who has taken to waving at random people in the street in case they recognise him and let's not forget the voiceover artiste extraordinaire, Mrs. Enid Biddle of Seaview Cottage, Tibet. She pops in from time to time, mainly for a sit down and a Horlicks and will offer her insights into the world of music when introducing some of the features on the show.
